Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) welcomes Dr. Marita Esposito as the new Assistant Dean of Students. Esposito brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student success.
She received her Doctor of Education from Northeastern University, and for 18 years she has served in various roles encompassing programmatic and student development administration. She offers a broad range of experience including project oversight, grant management, advisement and community outreach.
For the past eight years, she has served in multiple deanship roles and is looking forward to continuing to provide support to students at LMU-DCOM.
“I believe that all students have the capacity to reach their full potential when provided with holistic support services in environments where they are free to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally,” she said, adding that it is her intention to bring that same level of commitment and dedication to ensure that every learner has access to the tools and resources necessary to successfully achieve their medical education and career goals.
At LMU-DCOM, Esposito will be responsible for supporting student development and working closely with faculty and administration to ensure a positive and productive educational experience. Her innovative approach and dedication to student advocacy align perfectly with the college's mission to provide exceptional education and support to future osteopathic physicians.
Her appointment reflects LMU-DCOM’s ongoing commitment to providing outstanding support and resources for students as they embark on their journey to becoming compassionate and skilled osteopathic physicians.
